India Post Failed To Deliver A Parcel In 2013, Court Orders Them To Pay Rs 33,800 As Compensation

A consumer court in Chennai has ordered India Post to pay a compensation of Rs 33,800 to a customer after it failed to deliver a parcel.

The complainant, S Swaminathan a resident of Poes Garden in Chennai had alleged the the postal department had failed to deliver a parcel addressed to him in 2013.

According to Swaminathan’s complaint, the postmaster of Mylapore Head Post Office returned the parcel to the sender with a note saying ‘addressee deceased’.Click Here: France Football Shop
