Alexa Bliss is one of the most popular members of the Raw brand right now, and one would think that she would be eager to invoke her rematch clause against Nia Jax for the Raw Women’s Championship. Bliss has not competed in a match at all ever since she lost the title to Jax at WrestleMania. It was previously reported that this is due to some minor cosmetic surgery that she recently had. Ringside News has just noted that bliss is now expected to be back in action in slightly over a week. This makes her in-ring return coincide perfectly with the Baclash pay-per-view that WWE will be hosting on May 6th. Until her rematch against Jax at Backlash, Bliss will likely continue to appear on Raw in a non-wrestling role.
The Greatest Royal Rumble will be taking place later on today in Saudi Arabia, and the pay-per-view will feature seven different championship matches during the show. As previously reported, WWE is planning on having a few of those titles change hands, and a new report has just indicated two possible title switches which could take place during today’s show. The latest Wrestling Observer Radio program has revealed that it is definitely a possibility that the Intercontinental Championship could change hands during today’s ladder match. It was also noted that there would also be a new United States Champion if the Intercontinental Championship changes hands since WWE does not want both secondary titles to be featured on one brand.
