Mystery New Japan Tag Team Revealed

It has been a bit of a mystery as to what Rocky Romero had planned for the Junior Tag Team Title match that was scheduled to take place at the King of Pro Wrestling show at the Sumo Hall in Tokyo.

One of the attractions was a Junior Tag Team title match between the champions Riccochet and Rysuke Taguchi and a mystery team that Rocky Romero had promised. Romero is a multiple time Junior Tag Team Champion with partners like Alex Koslov in the Forever Hooligans and Baretta in Roppongi Vice. Romero had mentioned the team was called Roppongi 3k but wouldn’t say much more. Would Romero find a new partner or did he have something else in mind?
Earlier today (or last night in Japan) the mystery was revealed as Romero brought out Sho Tanaka & Yohei Komatsu, the former New Japan young lions who had been wrestling as “The Tempura Boyz” for Ring of Honor. Now known as just Sho and Yo, Romero’s team took it to the champions and won the titles with a double team Flatliner.
It hasn’t been announced yet if Romero is acting as their manager or if the new Roppongi 3K is part of the CHAOS faction of New Japan, but they are the new champions.
In other matches from the show SANADA, Hiromu Takahashi, and BUSHI  defeated Bad Luck Fale, Yujiro Takahashi and Leo Tonga, Toru Yano and Hirooki Goto defeated Minoru Suzuki and Zack Sabre Jr. by count out, IWGP Tag Team Champions Killer Elite Squad (Archer & Smith) defeated War Machine (Hanson & Rowe) and Guerillas of Destiny (Tanga Loa & Tama Tonga) in a tornado elimination match, Kenny Omega, Cody and Marty Scurll defeated YOSHI-HASHI, Beretta and Jado, Kota Ibushi and Juice Robinson defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi and Togi Makabe, Will Ospreay defeated IWGP Junior Champion KUSHIDA for the title, G1 Winner Tetsuya Naito defeated Tomohiro Ishii to defend the WrestleKingdom title shot.
