Ken Kennedy recently spoke on his frustration regarding his latest injury in his blog entry published by FHM Magazine on June 9th. Below is what Kennedy wrote:

“With my latest injury, I was misdiagnosed by a doctor in Erie, PA, who said that my triceps’ tendon was torn off the bone and that I would need surgery and six months of rehab. I spent 45 minutes in an MRI tube and he misread the damned thing. I’m pretty claustrophobic, so I was pissed when another doctor said he thought it wasn’t a tear and that I was going to have to spend two more hours in the tube. It turned out I just had a large hematoma in the triceps, which caused a great deal of swelling and pain from all the built-up pressure. Luckily, it was only going to take a month or two to heal. The nice thing about this injury is that I’m able to have time off from my constant, hectic travel schedule. Not only can I rehab this injury, but I can also recover from the severely sprained ankle, sprained thumb, and other injuries that I have been dealing with.”

The misdiagnosis was especially devastating for Kennedy given the fact that he was slated to win the World Heavyweight Championship from Undertaker, however, plans were changed when WWE creative thought that he would be out for over six months.
