Logistics service DHL expanded its partnership with Fashion Weeks around the world to include the London Fashion Week, to be held from 18 – 23 September 2009. Other cities where DHL sponsor Fashion Week events include Milan, New York, Toronto, Berlin, Mexico City, Moscow, Mumbai, Hong Kong, Miami and Sydney. Since September 2008, the company has also supported Fashion Fringe at Covent Garden, a platform which aims to find and nurture young talent.
DHLs support of London Fashion Week is part of its commitment to the British fashion, apparel and retail industries. The company covers all the logistics requirements of the fashion industry, managing everything from materials procurement, sample production, domestic and international transportation to warehousing and distribution.
