Backstage Speculation on AJ Styles’ Next Program, Plans For Elias

It was speculated by Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that with AJ Styles defeating Shinsuke Nakamura again and retaining the title at Money in the Bank, it will likely bring their program to a close, at least for the foreseeable future. The next logical opponent for AJ Styles would likely be someone like Samoa Joe.
Meltzer and Alvarez also suggested that based on the finish of the Elias vs. Seth Rollins Match at Money in the Bank, this storyline will likely continue and that the long term plan for Elias is that he will be a babyface, if he isn’t already transitioning to that role.
