Curtney Carlson wrestled for the Willmar Cardinals, coached by Walter Kokesch, in the mid-1950’s. A farm kid, he would marry Louise Ruter and they would have two sons, Chad and Carl, who would each become three-sport athletes at WHS in the late ’80s and early ’90s.
