The deliciously dark Little Nightmares is coming to Nintendo Switch

Freaky platform game Little Nightmares – “a masterpiece of meat and malice”, we said in our review – is coming to Nintendo Switch. It’ll be released 18th May in a Complete Edition bundling all previously released downloadable content together.

Soon, the world will be full of little nightmares and black shadows following your every step. Are your hands trembling from fear… or excitement? ??#LittleNightmares #NintendoSwitch pic.twitter.com/IOR5FEZALd

Little Nightmares originally told the story of Six, a tiny, yellow mac-wearing child who had to sneak past an assortment of huge and grotesque adults in a dark and dank world. It was brief but evocative, and later fleshed out with three downloadable additions revolving around a new character, the Runaway Kid.

Little Nightmares was Swedish developer Tarsier’s breakout game, having spent years working with Sony and Media Molecule on LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway. Tarsier also released PlayStation VR game Statik last year but it made little impact. What the studio is up to now, we don’t know.
