Former five-time champion Booker T talked about the Monday Night Raw wedding angle between Lana, Bobby Lashley, and Liv Morgan on a recent episode of his Hall of Fame podcast. The WWE Backstage host admitted that he thought the storyline was hilarious, and that whoever created the angle pulled everything out of their trick bag in order to surprise the audience.
I was pretty skeptical myself. The way this thing turned out…me and my son Kendrick was watching it…he’s nine years old…I felt like I was nine years old and we was watching a cartoon. It was so funny. Lana’s act…I mean…she’s good. I’ve got to give Lana props. Lana has definitely taken this role and made it her own.

I do think the angle, the way it ended up on Monday night at the end of the day it’s going to be something that people will be talking about for a long time. Whoever put it together they definitely went all the way into their trick bag and said ‘Hey man we are going to make these fans feel something than just watch it.’ I think it was a home-run.
Booker continues by praising Lana’s performance, and revealing his favorite part.
It was great, and then the melee at the end and Rusev coming out of the cake. That was the best part for me because I definitely didn’t see that coming. It just added more to what was going on. They went all out on this storyline.
I don’t know. Definitely interested in seeing what Lana is going to be doing. I think Lana was an afterthought, but Lana has shown that she is a star man. She’s money. It takes a special quality to be able to go out there and pull something off. She definitely has something.
